NCC AP Offers a Limited Time National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist Test-Exemption Offe


The National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals (NCC AP) is excited to announce that it is accepting applications from qualified peer recovery support specialists for the National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) national credential based on demonstrated competence, skills, training, and experience, without testing. Application Open Period: January 15, 2018 - December 31, 2018

Are YOU eligible to be a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist?

  • Do you have your high school diploma, GED or a higher degree?

  • Have you been in recovery for at least two years?

  • Have you spent at least 200 hours in direct practice (paid or volunteer) in a peer recovery support environment?

  • Have you earned 60 contact and training hours (CEs) of peer recovery-focused education and training?
