As you may know Fresh Start gives scholarship beds at no cost to those who are in recovery, but who have used their time in funded programs, this includes veterans.
This said,The Merakey Foundation Junior board puts on an event every year to pay the expenses to operate these beds. It is usually a comedy night held at Helium in town; however, because of the pandemic the Merakey junior board has decided to do a virtual comedy night on 9/24 and the price of admission is simply a donation to those who are less fortunate than us, and who need a little more help until they can find employment and move out on their own.
The success rate of this program is currently 74%. During this pandemic we need all the support we can get. Please share the link to the comedy night Below) with you friends, family, and colleagues.
