Give to the Follow Me Fund
Drug and alcohol rehab statistics show that the percentage of people who will relapse after a period of recovery ranges from 50% to 90%. This is a frightening statistic but what these figures hide is that there are things an individual can do to greatly increase their chances of sustained sobriety. Those people who are serious about aftercare greatly increase their chances of success. It is most often those who are not adequately supported in recovery that end up returning to their addiction.
To combat this problem, the Pennsylvania Alliance of Recovery Residences (PARR), in partnership with The Bridge Foundation plans to launch a pilot program called The Follow Me Fund to support and track 25 young adults as they transition from the community to recovery or as they move within the recovery community, ensuring they successfully complete a certified recovery program, helping to reduce their relapse rates by at least half within one year.
